Program Costs

Because we are a Christian ministry and wish to reach the largest audience possible, we do all that we can to keep our cost to you affordable. Wilderness Way does not have set charges for its programs, but operates primarily on a donation basis. The exception to this are our college-sponsored courses which are normally much longer, more intense and are accredited by the individual institutions. These courses are charged according to the individual college unit fees. Currently, the participating colleges are Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska which has a four-year degree program in International Rescue and Relief; and Pacific Union College in Angwin, California, which offers Survival and Rescue Training as an elective.

As a non-profit ministry, our programs are available to everyone everywhere. Friends of Wilderness Way Adventures regularly support the ministry with their tax-deductible contributions, which, combined with program donations, makes it possible to offer subsidized training and instruction.

So, if you come to us in Colorado, you will be asked to pay a $25 non-refundable registration fee and then we ask that you contribute a love offering of your choosing. If one of our instructors travels to share a program in your area, we ask that the group reimburse us for travel, provide room and board during the training, and contribute a love offering.
